A snuffer bottle, sometimes called a sniffer bottle, makes it easy to pick up small pieces of gold from your pan. Simply squeeze the bottle, place the tube next to the gold, and release to create suction. The gold is pulled into the bottle and safely stored until you are ready to remove it.
This compact snuffer bottle is about 4 inches tall and holds approximately 3 oz. It features a stiff polycarbonate tube and a galvanized/rubber washer for a secure seal.
To use, fill the bottle about halfway with water. Make sure the tube is inserted into the cap but does not reach the bottom of the bottle. The tube should sit about halfway to three-quarters of the way down, staying well above the gold level inside the bottle so you do not accidentally push gold back out.
Gently squeeze and hold the bottle, place the tube next to the gold in your pan, then slowly release to suction the gold into the bottle. Once the bottle stops pulling, lift it from the water, place your finger over the tube, and shake lightly so any gold in the tube drops into the bottle.
