Wear with thick leather shoes or boots for guaranteed protection against rattlesnakes and other poisonous vipers.  Snake proof polycarbonate and acrylic inserts have been needle puncture tested based on ASTM F1342.05 with no penetration. Nylon and/or polyester material covering the inserts is water resistant so fang venom does not soak into the material. Snake Chapz cover from your ankle to your thigh and are easy to walk in. Patented polycarbonate and acrylic inserts have been puncture tested based on ASTM F1342.05 with no penetration.  Material covering the inserts is made with 900 and 1000 Denier nylon and a coating for water resistance and so fang venom does not soak into the material. Snake proof up to 19 inches (approximately to your knee).

Light weight (15 ounces) Snake Chaps are secured in place with a 1 inch polyester strap, which may either be slipped through a belt loop or over the belt and are connected by a polycarbonate quick release buckle-- providing a "full range" height adjustment.
